Chapter 1: Finally Together

Neville Longbottom and Luna Lovegood have been friends for two years. Neville has had feelings for Luna for all that time, and he confesses so before the Battle of Hogwarts begins. He tells her that if she has feelings for him too, to let him know if they both survive the battle. They do survive, so what does Luna tell Neville? Yes or no?

Will they finally start dating after two years of knowing each other, maybe live their lives together? Or will they not get together, and live their lives in misery of lost friends and family in the battle? Can they mend what has been broken by this terrible event?
