《He sat on the chair apprehensively. What if the hat didn't put him anywhere? Was he going to screw up his chance to start over before he even started school? The hat wondered at his mind. His ability to think on his feet and to stress to an impossible degree made him a candidate for Ravenclaw. He possessed such loyalty and had always strived to work hard; the hat could tell. A Hufflepuff, perhaps? Phil the sorting hat sensed the immense bravery behind the boy's actions despite the fear that was also present in some of his best moments.
