Lana Lang has lived in Kansas for her entire life.

One sunny afternoon, she hears that Superman is on an off-Earth mission with the League and moves into Metropolis to be the fill-in protector. After making a move to Metropolis, she decides to live there until further notice as she got a job at a newspaper company. However, this company is owned by Lex Luthor - the All-Star Paper.

While Lana is working on multiple files, she receives intel that the dead have risen, but not in a zombie-y way. The dead are walking amongst them - as humans! Superwoman decides to investigate but finds something that is disturbing. Can she save Metropolis?
