Chapter I

Nearly a decade ago Holden Cross made a decision that he's regretted for so long. He's kept his guilt to himself, refusing to let it hinder his part in Apollyon's plans.

But then someone who he was never supposed to see again shows up and his lord sends him to dispatch the "deserter", but Holden can only wonder... Who deserted who? How, if it was even a possibility, could he fix this?
