What if Rex and his parents survived the fatal car wreck that night?

What would happen if Emma never lost the baby? What if she never broke up with Rex, and instead she told him about the baby?

How would Rex's parents react to the news if they were to find out about it as well?

These are all questions I've asked myself after binge watching "Awake" on netflix the other day. So I decided to answer my own questions with this alternate ending to the series.
