Chapter 1 Silence

Mikey always saw the world differently. Better than anybody else he knew, through his eyes, he saw the light in the darkest sky or the good in the cruelest soul. Master Splinter told him it was a gift; something only few possessed and because of that, it must be shared with those who could not see the beauty.

What if one day it disappeared?
What if he stopped seeing not just the beauty within the world, but went blind altogether?
