Change is the only thing that Skadie desires. The hope of a better future, or a change in societies views. But change is a hard thing to come by in a society driven by tradition. Caught in a conundrum, and the beginning of a deadly war, Skadie runs away. Away from the society she despises. Away to what would seem to be a better future.
