The Eyes of Zombies

The girl attempted to run, but she was surrounded. Her long hair did her no good. Her male companion had climbed the barricade between the sections, but the zombies were climbing. He screamed as one ate his foot, causing him to let go. His screams continued into his re-birth. I lobbed a fire bomb into the horde, lighting them all on fire. Suddenly, I fell off of my ledge, just seeing a glimpse of my assassin, a girl with short, wavy hair. She laughed as I burned, never re-animating.
