"Who is that guy?" I wonder out loud.

Kaede follows my gaze and sees who I was looking at. A guy dressed in dark attire with a black cap on his head stands there looking at the clothes on the window display, probably deciding whether he should go in the store or not. He is unaware of us just staring at him just fifteen feet away.

Kaede laughs. "Let's go find out!" she says, trying to pull me towards the guy.

What if I never saw him at the mall? What if I never met him at all? What if?
