chapter one: "change locations"

Regine Washington has been labeled incorrectly all her life. She's got a great body; she's a hoe. She has a group of boy friends; she's a slut. She doesn't speak to a lot of people; she's stuck up. She takes care of herself; she's conceited. But, once she makes a school transfer to Teylor University to be closer to her family, she meets Vylon "Meechie" Simpson, who shows himself to be different than everyone else who's been in her life. He doesn't judge her, nor does he act like any of the boys she's ever previously given a chance to occupy her time; and she starts to finally think that maybe transferring to TU was the right choice.
