Shortly after Mr Todd takes revenge on the Judge who imprisoned him for fifteen years he and Mrs Lovett are full of trouble as the London police discover the crimes they have committed. So they have no choice but to run away as long as there is time. This will be a fresh start for Sweenett's story.
