Everywhere I turned I saw trees covered in a delicate blanket of fresh snow. We could both see our exhales in the icy atmosphere. I had my sword, she had hers too. In case we needed it for protection any time soon. "You do know we're going on a suicide mission right now, don't you?" She asked me with a hint of worry in her voice. My eyes locked with hers. "Of course I know, but we have to get this over with if we don't want more innocent lives to be lost just because some sick bastard wanted to start this war." She nodded and then we continued our way down the snowy path, not knowing what would happen.
