At just 12 years old, I was an outcast. Sent away to live in the lands outside of the city wall, survival had become a game. Little by little, more and more children joined, sent away by the city. Until the city found us. *** Cass had always been a leader, having been forced out in the hopes that she would die, she had grown up much faster than expected.
