Prologue

Elowen Shards has always lead a difficult life. From the moment her mother passed away from Dragon Pox to the fateful day her father decided to remarry. In fact it had only continued to grow worse.

After losing one of her parents and her father being constantly away on mission, she was then left to care hand and foot for her overbearing stepmother and stepsisters.

That was until she received her letter to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Finally Ella can escape her step-family and find a new place to call home.

But apparently hoping for peaceful and quiet years at Hogwarts was too much to ask for. Especially when she catches the eye of a certain troublemaker.
