Excuse Me?

Jessie Barrish is a Vegas native working at an antique store to make ends meet. It's never really busy, and functions more as a storage room than anything else, but it pays the bills and she enjoys the work.
When a mysterious man comes in (and keeps coming in), things get...weird for Jessie. Her modus operandi of the last few years was to keep out new people-- it was just easier that way. Nothing to explain, no one to worry about, and no chance of any kind of accident ever again. At least not one that was someone else's fault. Zak's intrigued by her, but there's just one complication. She can't hear.
