Estella Reynolds is a lonely girl. In real life, she doesn't have anybody to talk to. Her alcoholic mother is knocked out all day, and her dad disappeared eight years ago. One day, Estella finds a old, worn out journal in the back of her mother's closet. The journal is empty, but Estella plans to change that. She'll start to fill her days with writing to distract herself from her dreary world.

It all starts with the first entry.
