Will is apprentice for a doctor. Nico is a grieving brother. Hazel is scared. Grover is a newlywed farmer. In the age of empires, kingdoms fall, wars rage on, and love is in the air. I do not any of these characters. Rick Riordan does. Also, the names of characters' godly parents have been changed. This was inspired by A Tale of Royals and Slaves by @iheartshipper, but the plot is very different.
