Alpha - Preface

His eyes lured me in. His voice was a siren's call that I couldn't resist. His touch doused my body in scalding flames, burning me with a desire that I had thought to be impossible. I craved him in every way, like an addict craved their most tempting poison. He was the leader of my pack and to have such thoughts of him was unacceptable, though that never stopped me. If anything, it only enticed me more. The forbidden fruit was sweeter and I wanted more than just a taste. I wanted him to be mine.
