{chapter One:} "The spawn"

Eliza Mae has been the definition of tragedy ever since her birth. The God she was told to love was the reason for her misery, and it seemed that the whole world detested her just for existing. Although she is blind, her beautiful dark eyes have pierced the heart and soul of a very powerful man who can offer her the guidance she so desperately needs in order to move towards a better and happier future. Earning her trust however, would prove to be a challenge....but Papa Emeritus III is determined to show Eliza that even in her world of darkness there is beauty, and through his eyes, she can see so much more than just shadows.
