Alison is a young, hotheaded, and ruthless Beta-to-Be. Her counterpart, Emmett, the equally young Alpha-To-Be is the complete opposite of her. Emmett is calm, responsible, uptight, and eager to fill his father's role. However, these young leaders just don't get along. If they are to lead the next generation of pack members successfully she has to learn how to respect her Alpha and he has to learn to not be so uptight and maybe... just maybe they can learn to love each other. ☾ ☾ ☾ Werewolves in the human world are a dying breed. In order to protect the remaining packs' futures, leaders throughout the nation decided to elect an Elder Council. The elected Council adopted law and tests in an effort to maintain the delicate balance and peace. Although these laws were meant to protect the few remaining packs, one law, however, tested the boundaries of fate. "A fully recognized pack can never EVER have a mated alpha and beta."
