Before We Begin

Alicia had been through a lot and on top of that she was sentenced for a crime she didn't commit. No one was there to testify against the sentence.
The little, innocent girl was brought to prison. A prison where she didn't belong, even if she was indeed guilty.
She was afraid of her heart. Afraid that those who she would love, would die. After all, that's what happened to her.
But someone else was afraid for her, as well. Not for her heart, but for her safety.
