Cassandra and Carter meet once again, but this time, the stakes are higher. Carter is wanted by a gang of crime lords for "stealing" their illegal business, and in the darker slums of town, an old family member has called upon his particular skill for a daunting task. Tossed in with the life of a criminal, Cassandra must work with this member and Carter if she is to ultimately achieve her goal, bringing Carter to justice for his crimes, but as she quickly finds out, there is far more to him than ever met her eye. When everything is revealed, the things he has ever said, done, and known are finally understood.
