Cowboys & Cadillacs - Chapter 1

1973 finds the second generation Van Degna Family led by Mickey Van returning from Vietnam to his childhood home in Cicero, IL for a reunion at his sister's wedding. The next stop finds our hero mounting the Cowboy country of Scottsdale, AZ, ushering in Bull Riders, Cowgirls, Marriage, Infidelities, Divorce, a second union lasting until departure only at death, brushes with local and federal law enforcement as well as a very successful Business Venture. Mickey journeys from his roots in Chicago, through the deserts of Arizona to a life of privilege in California.
