The Only Reason (A Michael Clifford Oneshot)

Sydney is Ashton’s stepsister and the two of them have become nearly inseparable since their parents had married a few years back. She is just a year younger than Ash so they two had always been completely open with each other, telling each other all their secrets and even sharing a room. With everything going on with his band, 5 Seconds of Summer, he and his band mates had been traveling a lot which meant she didn’t get to see him as often and often times, would spend the time sharing him with his band mates or flying across the world to be with them. The boys had become almost a second family, especially Mikey, they had become best friends, texting all the time, video chats, nights in cuddling on the couch or out shopping. One night she decides to surprise the boys, taking Ash’s little brother Harry with her and standing right in the front row of the boys’ first hometown show in nearly a year. Mikey has a huge smile on his face when he spots Sydney but it quickly fades when he catches her being all pally and flirty with one of his mates.
