Death. What comes to mind when you hear that word? Darkness, uncertainty, or perhaps maybe a scary being clothed in the night comes to mind. But all of those ideas are wrong, because Death is nothing more than a werewolf who's been neglected and shamed all of his life for who he is. What is this dark being's name? Alpha Draven, Child of Beautiful Shadows, and he's on a quest for love. So when he finds his mate, he has hope. Hope that maybe, there is someone who will love him. But there is a devastating price to pay for having a mate that is a runaway vampire slave. Fights will take place, wars will be waged, and lives will be taken. Can a being known for taking lives also save them, or will he come too late as his mate suffocates in a puddle of her own blood?
