The Day My Life Changed

I was just another girl who blended in with the crowd. Just another face among the many. Almost nothing was special about me, except for one thing: my hair. Under the sun it looked blonde, almost white, but in the shade, it gained a look of brown.

My life was plain, ordinary. I felt trapped, like I was capable of more. Finding out you're adopted and your real family lives halfway across the world doesn't exactly fit the bill of ordinary. But when you find out your so-called brother is dead and they put you up for adoption so you didn't suffer the same life, yor life gets a lot more complicated.
