Levi White is an addict, unwilling to admit it until the night he finds himself in hospital after overdosing on too many pills.
Yet, this isn't what sets off his road to recovery from his self destructive behaviours, it's the man in the bed next to him.

At first, the two don't get along very well, Bentley Parker a hospital veteran, having spent the past 7 years, since he was 19 in a hospital and to him Levi is selfish, taking his own life for granted.

Eventually after countless nights of bickering, the two begin to bond, the sort of bond that can only be broken by death. With Bentley, recovering from cancer and Levi recovering from his own problems, who will break the bond first?
