Prologue

Rackel has been torn away from the Sanctuary and thrust back into uncertainty. She had established a home with her love and grown to love it there.

Daryl had never been so relieved to see her, but knew something had changed and it shook his resolve. He couldn't understand how she could've possibly fallen for their captor in his absence and after all he had put them through.

Will Rackel rise up against her adversities? Or succumb to her crippling grief?
