✔️We were sitting on the couch, my feet in his lap.
"So, why don't you have a girlfriend?" "Ah, she dumped me after the trial, that's why I'm here."
"'Cause your girlfriend dumped you?" "No, silly. 'Cause of what I was tried for," he said matter-of-factly.
Well, that's not something I knew about Zayn.
"And what were you tried for?" I was a little nervous, I love Zayn but, you know. He looked me straight in the eyes, "Murder."

He was just a person. No one special; just Zayn, my family's foreign exchange student. I had the perfect life when he stepped into it; he just made it better, cause he had what I was missing.
