Rookie Poetry

I'm not that much of a pro

And trust me, it's not all for show.

Sneaking into the pages seep

Countless stories, you would love to have a peep.

My pen fancies modernism, 

Modern English and good realism.

Though it may seem rather plain,

I'm no wanter of such shallow gain

Of your discontent or displeasure.

All I want is for you to think and treasure

What gifts and beauty life has bestowed on you, don't measure.
