Prologue

"I didn't kill him."

I repeated the same line over and over again. He wasn't dead. I knew it.

I know that he's alive.

"I didn't kill him."

He had to be out there, but it didn't matter now.

They wouldn't let me out of here no matter how much I begged.

"I'm not crazy and he's not dead!" I yelled out.

No one answered.

I began rocking back and forth.

"I didn't kill him."
