Chapter I

26-year-old Micah Jones has lived a normal, mundane life. She spends her days sitting at the writing desk in her New York apartment living room, discussing story plotlines with her best friend Hailey.

But when a mysterious man appears on her balcony in the middle of a thunderstorm, Micah's world is turned completely upside down. Claiming to be a holy figure drawn strat from the pages of the Bible, the man does nothing but give Micah more and more questions.

Suddenly tossed into the middle of a war between brothers and heaven and earth, Micah must sort out both her place in her own world, and the confusing feelings the mysterious man stirs in her.
