Chapter 1

After the cliffhanger ending of Lord of Shadows, the Council is thrown into chaos. Emma and the Blackthorns are sent back to the L.A. Institute, but the fearsome parabatai pair are soon given a dangerous mission, meant to be kept top secret. With no choice, they endeavour to find the missing Clary and Jace in the land of faerie, all the while fighting to oppose the parabatai curse that keeps them running. Will they ever find peace?
