The phones ring day and night. Desperate women calling seeking shelter after incidents of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. It is the responsibility of founder and director, Irene Jefferson, to keep the doors open. Recently injured and in need of funding to remain open, Irene runs into wealthy and handsome Jeffery Evans. Many years ago they had planned to marry after college until she caught him cheating. He desires to renew their relationship and help her shelter remain open. That is until he discovers someone is trying to destroy the shelter and take Irene's life.Now he wants to protect her at all cost.
