Ananya José had lived out 16 years of her life as a human. Running from an abusive father since she was 5, she had never stayed in one area for long. Moving into a new town, that sits in the middle of a forest, seems to be safe enough for now. That is until Anya gains the attention of two dangerous brothers.

Unknown to the young, naïve teen, Anya has lived a separate life, different to the one she was born for. Where her and her brother, Solomon, try to fend for them selves while trying to ignore a thousand year old prophecy that causes her to be the only salvation of a dying race. Anya is thrust into a world she never thought had existed, causing her loyalties to be challenged and new ones to emerge.
