A young male, the current Elemental Master of Darkness and his brother, the Elemental Master of Light, meet a group of ninjas during the Tournament of Elements, where the young Master of Darkness is tested physically and mentally. And soon, he finds himself alone, until he falls for the Master of Energy, Lloyd Garmadon. Over the years, the boy and his brother fight beside these ninja, fighting evil and chasing it away. As time passes, the young master finds himself searching for the truth about his brother and himself. Their past is known but their heritage is a mystery.
