She's Going Fishing In Heaven

She's going fishing,
And I know you're wishing,
Wishing you had more time,
Wishing you had spent more time with her so in memory of her I crafted this simple rhyme.

She's going fishing in Heaven,
Fishing with the Lord,
Fishing 'till her hearts content,
No more pain, no more sorrows.

I shall always remember her as the gentle Shirley whom made me make a promise to live,
We should all take up that same promise and live life to the fullest,
For this isn't the end for her but the beginning instead,
She's going fishing up in the prettiest, most well stocked lake up in Heaven.

Picture her not on her deathbed,
But in all the funny things she did and said,
Picture her not in her final moments,
But in the happy times you spent together moments.

Now as we say our final goodbyes,
Until we see you again some day up in Heaven's skies.
