Indigo Artemis North - more commonly known as the legendary 'Dragon Master' - loses a mother figure from her life when she and Valka end up in a fight in which Valka refuses to see her again. Indigo starts turning to the closest thing she has to a father figure until a mysterious creature from her past rips her from the skies
