Chapter 1

When 15 year old Emilia Carrington's older sister, 19 year old Ruby comes back home everything seems to fall into place. Their father isn't too fond of Ruby anymore and therefore Emilia worries that her father might make Ruby leave once again, forever this time. Emilia tries to bring Ruby and her dads bond back, but it's not as easy as she thinks. With Ruby's not so stable mental state past, Emilia tries to keep her sister safe from relapsing. Love, anger, and tears makes Emilia become very observant of the family drama she never knew was there. Will Ruby stay or will Emilia have to learn how to be without her sister once more?
