Prologue

Dylan Harris hasn't had the easiest life- anxiety disorders, an abusive step father, bullies at school. Yet, as his senior year of high school comes to an end, he is content with his girlfriend, younger brother, and best friend all by his side. That is, until his whole world comes crashing down. When the Infected arrive. Suddenly, his high school is a battleground between the healthy and the infected, people resembling Zombies in their craving for human flesh, shambling walks, and unwavering persistence. Now the high schoolers must battle for their lives in a world that is dying before their eyes- that is, if they can keep any semblance of normalcy from their old lives intact.
