It's everywhere he goes, ingrained in every little thing society does. He can't even watch TV without some commercial about the upcoming times of war. Who cares if a commoner is going to rise up and take the throne? Tom will happily bow down and take what he gets. On Tom's eighteenth birthday, his mother happily ships him off to the Red Army's School of the Elements so she doesn't have to deal with her troublemaker son anymore. Tom goes through the motions and ignores all talk of the prophecy, even if the few friends he's made speak of it constantly. But everything changes when he meets him.
