Prologue

She never meant to be a disappointment.

This was never her intended purpose, never the reason she'd been made. All she wanted was a father that loved and protected her, cradled her and told her everything would be okay, that the sun would rise and bring a new day where all our troubles disappeared. All she wanted was to be loved.

And the only thing she received was blood and flames.
