'Alpha!' Jax yelled out at the edge of the woods. Both our heads snapped toward him. 'Run!' I screamed out as I heard a cracking noise and looked back. I gasped. 'No.. no.' I whispered. He asked. I didn't know if I did honestly. I didn't recognize this guy in front of me. This wasn't my mate. He had never acted so caring and soft before. But I loved it and so was Leona.
