Crash Landing

What if Kara knew Mon-El before he landed on earth? How would things be different between them and would it effect their relationship?
(Ps. I know someone has already written a story like this and it's great, it's my inspiration for my story, just so everyone knows I'm not trying to copy anyone's work, once again I just loved the plot!)
