When a 8th grader girl, Nicole's house catches on fire, she moves in with her dad to her Aunts house and volunteers at Hooves at Heart (A Horse Shelter) and falls in love with a horse, but what she doesn't know the most popular boy in school, Noah Longfield adopts the horse and wants to train her for a horse competition. Nicole is torn wether she should sabotage his plans or let him do what he wants.
