A man who claims he is actually, in fact, a divine immortal God and that as punishment for his crime he has been abandoned by the Gods into the body of a mortal.

The Trojan war was what changed him. It made him believe his futile attempt at love was worth his action because of the tragic love stories that emerged like embers from the war around him.

Salvation and damnation are the same thing.
