Prologue: Desperate Times

You've heard stories and rumors from multiple people about how they sold their soul to the devil. Or rather, why they did. One gorgon sold her soul to become the most beautiful mermaid in the land. A rather sad father sold his soul to become inkwell's most famed clown, brining joy to children left and right. You decided to jump on this bandwagon, and made a deal with the devil. Give him your soul, and you would find your soul mate, whom which would fall in love with you and never leave your side. But what happens when a certain someone tampers with your deal, and you're forced to live with him for the rest of time?
