Hayden, the best viola player in one of the best touring orchestras in the country, has his entire world flipped upside down by an entrancing violinist, Everett. Hayden can't keep his mind off the passionate and extravagant violinist but there's something that he knows Everett isn't telling him. There's a sadness to his brightening personality, and that is something that draws Hayden ever closer. Will Hayden back off before he gets too close to this mysterious man, or will he fall head over heals to risk having his heart strings yanked?
