Is it possible to be happy in the middle of a nightmare? Having everything take from you just like that. 15 year old Charlotte (aka Charlie) had the perfect life. Her parents loved her and each other, along with her little sister Emma. But after the incident... Her world crashed. After being forced to love from her small hometown in New Jersey she and her little sister are forced to move with her older cousin in Delaware. She loves her cousin, but hates having to move. She left all of her friends, school, and dance school behind. But the worst thing she left was the light in her eyes; her happiness. She use to be such a good kid. She was a straight A student, had tons of friends, and participated in everything. But it became hard after her parents died. The only time she is truly happy is when she's with her 8 year old sister Emma. Her parents didn't even have to try to have them get along, because they were already molded together. Everything gets better for her... until her first day of school. This is when everything changes... all.over.again. Delaware is so much different from Jersey-especially the school system. Char makes 2 really good friends. They go by Laney and Sarah. Char gets bullied alot by the football team. Mostly because she takes ballet lessons that take more endurance sometimes for Pointe than football; and when she said it they wouldn't leave her be. There's this one boy on the team however. Ethan. He's the only one that shows kindness to her other than her friends. And forms a relationship with her, but doesn't tell the team.
