Niall Horan is a pop singer who is recovering from drug addiction. He sets home after 10 months in rehab to start fresh, after all: his hometown is where he first started his singing career. Along the way to recovery he stumbles upon Valerie Lopez, a highschool classmate. When young, she was a trouble maker but now as a full grown adult Valerie has yet to know what to do with her life. She's been beaten and harassed because of her race in her highschool years but now: she's not going to take anyone's hate to keep her from doing whatever she wants to achieve the life she is still uncertain about.

Niall and Valerie have different tragedies but the same amount of heart when it came to being where they belong.
